AlDayel Family History
Family History
In the middle of the seventh century, Dayel bin Muhammad Alwadani, the father of the family, left Wadi ad-Dawasir and headed to the middle of Najd (the central region of the Arabian Peninsula) in search of grazing land, as was customary among nomads.
He and his family settled in the Traif Alhabel area, located about 10 km southeast of Marat Town. They remained there for nearly a century before his descendants moved to Marat Town, where they have settled to the present day. From there, the story of the AlDayel family began.
The family now numbers over three thousand people spread across Marat Town, Riyadh, and Tabuk. They meet periodically at the AlDayel Palace in Marat Town and have maintained continuous contact with their cousins in Wadi ad-Dawasir.
