AlDayel Family History

In the middle of the seventh century, Dayel bin Muhammad Alwadani (father of the family) left Wadi ad-Dawasir and headed to the middle of Najd (central region of Arabian Peninsula) in search of grazing land, as is customary among nomads.

He and family settled in the Traif Alhabel area (located around 10 km southeast of Marat Town). They stayed there for nearly a century and then his descendants moved to Marat Town and settled there to the present time. From there, the story of the Aldayel family has begun.

The family counts over three thousand people spread in Marat town, Riyadh and Tabuk. They meet periodically at the Al Dayel Palace, located in Marat town. Above and beyond, they have maintained continuous contact with their cousins in Wadi ad-Dawasir.
